Solid academic foundation

Christine’s professional expertise is built on a strong academ ic foundation. She has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance, and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. A solid education is essential in today’s workplace, but nothing compares to hands-on, real-world experience and Christine has plenty—over 20 years.

A broad range of strategic and tactical marketing experience

Prior to establishing Mariconda Marketing Solutions, for over 13 years Christine held senior management positions at Brinkmann Instruments, Eppendorf North America and Eppendorf, Inc., market-leading companies serving the life science research, pharmaceutical, biotech, analytical chemistry, clinical and related markets.

As Executive Director of  Communications and e-Business for Brinkmann Instruments and Eppendorf, Inc., Christine collaborated with product managers, marketing directors and other business professionals on the development of sound marketing communications strategies and effective communications plans. She provided the strategic and creative direction needed to ensure efficient and effective implementation. Marketing tactics covered advertising, print communications, direct marketing, online marketing, trade shows, public relations and more. Christine was also responsible for local corporate identity management, a variety of internal corporate communications, inquiry/lead management, customer database development, and the implementation of a Sales Force Automation application.

As a member of Eppendorf’s Global Creative Committee, Christine contributed strategic and creative input on a wide range of global marketing communications projects. She was also responsible for the local implementation of global projects such as a customer loyalty program and e-Shop.

Extensive management and operational experience

To achieve corporate marketing goals, Christine managed an in-house communications department staffed with graphic/web designers and other specialists involved with media planning, public relations, meetings, events, and tradeshow management. She supplemented internal resources as needed by sourcing and managing business relationships with highly qualified agencies, freelancers, printers, photographers, and other partners.

Extensive hands-on experience

Earlier in her career, Christine served as Marketing Services Manager, Associate Marketing Services Manager and Senior Advertising Specialist (Analytical Systems) for Brinkmann Instruments. In these positions she handled the day-to-day operations for creative services, lead management, trade show management, media planning/placement, public relations, website development, and meetings/events management.  Prior to Brinkmann Christine worked in product management at Schein Pharmaceutical, a generic pharmaceutical company, where she conducted market research, developed marketing strategies and tactics, and implemented the Hospital Division’s marketing plan.

A history of success

Throughout her 20+ years in corporate life, Christine helped to evolve some of the most well known brands in the laboratory products and analytical instrumentation industries. She helped to grow new companies such as Schein Pharmaceutical. Christine has also been responsible for initiating, leading, developing and implementing an incredible number of marketing/communications projects and corporate initiatives.  She has successfully led cross-functional business teams and has also been the strategic and creative brains behind a wide variety of highly effective integrated marketing communications campaigns that have exceeded marketing objectives.
